For example if the market value of a ring is 00 because of the diamond and gold on it, how can a jewelry store sell it on sale for sale 00?
Thinking about Kay Jewelers compared to a local jeweler. Kay Jewelers has an anniversary sale so I wonder if its a deal or is the Kay Jewelers stuff a lower quality?
It doesn’t matter if it’s online or an actual store. Please help! Thanks so much.
I recieved a diamond ring and i wanted to know how i could tell of the diamond or the gold is real
It’s a drawing on a shirt and its a skull with leaves and spears around it and there is a diamond shining on top of it. I got the shirt off a clearance rack for like 2 bucks but I didn’t really look at the picture until I went to put it on. It seems like it must stand for something.
I’m trying to figure out a good inventory system. I also need help with how to ship. Goods are diamond gold jewelry. This will be done from my home. Is this safe? Also need advice on what ring sizes to stock, and how many? Please, only answers from serious jewelry oriented people.
what is a decent shipping time frame to ship to a customer?
My boyfriend and I went ring shopping the other day and the women showed us this beautiful ring that was HALF the price of anything else we were looking at. The center stone was actually made up of several small stones but unless you were looking at it soooo closely, it looks like a really big diamond. Does anyone know what this is called or any company that makes them?
I am 26 years old and a junior in college studying history and theatre (ye, i know, i dont have a life). I dont have a job and am usually broke. My mom is pestering me to find a nice girl to settle down with. i am afraid of marriage and committment (that it wont work out like everything else in my life doesnt). Anyway she mentioned she put away in the safe a very expensive diamond ring worth at least 50,000 dollars. she used to say she’s saving it for my future bride but id rather sell it and invest the money so i can have a business, the other things will fall into place afterwards.
so what sayest thou.
I have this idea of opening an internet cafe in the summer in a vacation area.
My mother would also like to have a family business so if it works out its a win win situation.
The way I see it, right now the only thing I have going for me is my looks (though my hair is starting to thin) and my wit but I am more broke than ever and what kind of girl would want me now?
The diamond belonged to my grandmother.
My wedding is in a month and i dont know what kind of jewelry to wear with my dress. diamonds, pearls, etc? any suggestions plz…here is the pic of my dress…

I am in the market for a engagement ring. I am going with loose diamonds and then pick the setting that i think my gf will like. My question is this:
Is a .52 carat loose diamond too small ? This is the actual weight of that diamond and not what is referred by some marketing gimmick as "total weight or tcw (total carat weight)"
The other numbers are very good for the diamond such as,
Color: E
Clarity: VVS1
Cut: Very Good
I have no idea if half carat diamond will be too small. Obviously I would like to get a 1 carat but they are pretty expensive and even though i could afford it I just think that they are too much for a stone.
any advice ? oh yes, i would like to get answers from guys & gals. I know most of the girls would say its not enough because for most there is a psychological barrier of diamonds below 1 carat (or so i heard) so i would like to hear from guys too !!
Im looking at a jewelry piece that has claimed to be from victorian times, it has a mark in the gold that says 585.
When did they start and stop stamping the gold? victorian? 1800s?
what does 585 mean? 14k ?
I’m debating which to get as an engagement ring, I know Diamonds are always the safe bet, but I found a taneanite ring that I really like. Which should I go with?
Looking for a good store to buy an engagement ring. Want good quality (obviously) and reasonable prices, also helpful staff because I don’t know anything about ring shopping!
Is it possible for a jeweler to extend the length of a diamond tennis bracelet?
I have a diamond and I want to buy a diamond ring solitaire setting to set it in. Where is the best place to go?
I’m thinking about buying one for my daughter for her fifteenth birthday. Do you think that’s an okay gift? Do you have any good links for rings?
