it would depend on a lot of factors such as the clarity and cut of the ring, the setting and what metal you are getting (silver, gold platinum) Why do YOU want to know the price of the diamond????? Shouldn’t your boyfriend be the one worried about how much the ring will cost?

The diamond alone (meaning without the setting) could cost anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000. It all depends on the 4 Cs (Cut, Clarity, Carat and Color). Honestly, why do you need that big of a diamond? It seems excessive to me…

rather then size concentrate on finding a high quality stone- read up on the 5Cs.
A poor 2 carat stone may be only 20-30% of the price of an exceptional one.

Perhaps you don’t realise how big 2 carats is… But if you’re worried about the price, then chances are you and your fiance can’t afford it. However, if what you are wanting is a big bling bling ring, then I would suggest looking into a man made diamond. I’m not sure of the exact prices but they look great and they are heaps cheaper.

It very much depends on the ring, mine is 2ct, .75 center .40side stones, .08 accents three on each side. I believe it was close to $5000. Of course quality plays a big part in that also, so know your C’s. Decide what kind of ring, solitare, three stone etc. then make some trips to local jewlers. Nothing beats compairson shopping when it’s for a diamond.

If he’s smart he would just get you a plain gold band. If your not a gold digger you would see it as a symbol of love not as a piece of jewelry.

you can try going to this website and fine a ring that is like the one you would want to have and compare prices.
