I want to get her a special present for all of her help. I want to get her something in addition to the gift I’m giving all of the BM’s. (their wedding jewelry). Any suggestions?
Thank you everyone for your ideas!!

I would buy her a beautiful sterling silver locket.
Put her pic on one side and yours on the other.
Have it engraved on the back with……….Sisters Forever.

My sister gave me diamond stud earrings when I was her maid of honor. Nothing too big but it was a nice gesture and I will cherish them always.

I purchased all of my girls necklaces and gave my maid of honor a pair of earlings to go with it. If you have purchased them a matching set, then you can get her a pin to wear on her dress… or something for her hair. Your maid of honor should look slightly different than the rest of the girls and as a general rule also get an extra gift. Maybe a watch??? Depending on what your sister likes, you could get her something off beat that has nothing to do with the wedding as well. Theater tickets??? Something maybe she would not get for herself. I could give you other suggestions, but I would need to know your budget for the extra gift to help you find something in that price range.

How about a scrapbook with pictures of the two of you growing up? That would be a very nice gift for a sister.

how about an engraved picture frame that says "thanks for being you" or "i couldn’t have done it without you" that’s a nice touch! =)

why not you and your sister go for a day just the two of you and get your nails done and spend one day on just you two that will mean more then anything

perhaps a gift certificate to a spa afterwards so she can spend some time being a princess too.

I took my sister to Chicago for the weekend. I handed her the itinerary as I handed everyone else their gifts. She was very surprised! We went a month after the wedding and had a great time. Do you have somewhere close and not super expensive that just the two of you can go???

I like the spa idea, but something that I would love is to be invited on a vacation. If she’s single then it could be awkward, but if she has a close boyfriend or something they might really like to go on a fun trip with you for a weekend mountain retreat or weekend trip to a lakehouse.
