I have several pieces of mostly 14K gold that was given to me by a family member (for the purpose of selling). What is the best way to go about getting actual (or close to) value for these?

Is Tiffany’s a worthwhile choice for engagement rings?
Please don’t answer unless you have direct or indirect (friend or family member who shopped there) experience with Tiffany’s. Their prices are quite hefty, but I’ve heard their quality is excellent. But just HOW excellent?
