Sorry, I don’t remember if it was Kay or Zales or whatever, but it shows a couple driving in the snow with a song playing in the background sung by a male singer with a guitar singing "I think that maybe I’ve fallen in love with you. Yes I believe I’ve fallen quite hard for you" (I hope I got the words right…I don’t know them by heart so I might be off) and as the light turns red the man driving hands the lady a necklace and they kiss when the light turns green. Please I really love that song, and I would be forever grateful if you told me what it was!

I make more money than he does. Does it really matter who pays? I’d love to get a male’s take on this.

Meaning of the circle of diamonds jewelry?

May 19, 2010 Author: admin | Filed under: Diamond Jewelry

Hi all:

Just curious here, been with my boyfriend for 2 years and last year he gave me a circle of diamonds pendant. He said it was a symbol of a ring ok?

So I was thinking he was going to give me the engagement ring this past valantine’s but nope lol… So he gives me the same design but now earrings. He almost said the same thing this time. He said look at the earring is a circle like an engagment ring. OK I am sorry but I am confused so is he trying to give me a hint on the engagment ring that it will come some day? or is he saying look I get you diamond circles as a sign of love forever love you since its a circle no beginning no ending of his love???

Please any comments would help this confused girl

Should I just not expect a ring and just diamond circles jewelry from him??

my boyfriend and I were completely adoring the idea of making our wedding rings in a jewelry class of sorts, and I was wondering if anyone else out there has done this. if so, do you have any photos to show? I’d love to see results :]

do you think it is okay for girls to wear diamond rings from their boyfriends before they get marry or should it be taken a little more seriously?
And my gf keeps on bringing up the fact that her ex bought her a diamond ring and she wore it(however, she told me she threw it away after they broke up), I am not all that satisfied to hear this, if she is willing to wear a diamond ring from someone, yet, dumps him so easily, I highly doubt her understanding of love.

Recently, she’s been saying that we should get the couple rings, and how it symbolize love and all that….with all her previous "glorious" histories, I am not sure if I should give in on this ring thing. What do you think?

Engagement rings?

I am looking for info on the BEST, most REPUTABLE online stores for Moissanite engagements rings. If you own a Moissanite Engagement ring please answer. Please answer only if you have actually shopped on the site you list.
Sure, I am choosing Moissanite over a diamond one because we are not rich (I have major student loans that really deplete our money) So I have fought with myself over saving up for a 1 carat diamond and I just think it is retarded. Moissanite is almost as hard as a diamond, it has more fire and brilliance that a diamond and when I went to an actual jeweler and compared the 2 I fell in love it is very very beautiful. I think you have to be a certain type of person to go this route, it is def personal preference but I also think you can not be one of those girls that has to have name brand this and 4 carat rocks you know. Pure opinion there but I am sure you know some women like that. Anyway, from what I hear most people can not even tell the difference. Not that is matters to me as I am pretty low maintenance and just do not care what others think, it is what I like.

Maybe you aren’t ready for marriage or ready to get engaged. Would you want people to know that you are in love and taken by wearing something to show you’re commitment?

I am not a big jewelry person so forgive me if I sound ignorant. Fashion/style experts I need your help and opinions!

I found a gemstone ring on ebay I have fallen in love with and is my size. It has three different color gemstones (topaz yellow, pink and blue). However, those colors do not really "match" exactly any other jewelry that I currently have.

Would it still look alright and stylish to wear the ring with whatever clothes and jewelry I have on? Or should I look for other pieces of jewelry to wear with the ring that are the same color gemstones (to have a "set" so to speak – which may be difficult) and/or only wear the ring when the color of clothing I am wearing goes with the gemstones as well?

I would like to be able to wear this ring almost daily on my right hand.

I just don’t want to look like some weird eccentric lady wearing jewelry that sticks out like a sore thumb. It is a classy beautiful ring and I want to present it that way.

What is the average that it would cost to get about a 2 karat, good quality diamond ring, w/ a nice setting on it also.

Also, do you think its too early if he proposes after 1.5 yrs of dating? I know he’s probably the best one out there for me. I’m starting to fall in love w/ him, but i’m not 100% sure. What do I do if he does ask soon?

I don’t want a yellow/white gold or even platinum ring. I don’t want diamonds on it, even accent ones. But ALL the websites and stores I’ve visited in person only has the above. It’s like society’s stuck on the diamonds/gold requirements for an engagement ring, and that SUCKS. I wanted a purely silver ring (not sterling silver, my finger turns green!) with a heart-cut aquamarine centerstone with emerald side accents & engravings on the inside of the band. Anybody out there who can work with me on this?
Nianni – he asked me what I wanted. Would you want your husband to give you a pawned diamond ring from a second-rate store and expect you to adore it? Real ignorant.
What I wanted was a silver ring with my birthstone as the center, and two emerald rings on each side for his birthstone – sort of ‘hugging’ me. That truly does represent how we feel about each other, how I’m his. What does a diamond and gold represent? Nothing. A diamond represents forever, but symbolizes absolutely nothing about love. We both have already agreed on it and he is extremely excited if we can get one like that AND we’ve agreed quite a long time ago that the traditional engagement rings do not symbolize anything at all.

The dress I’ve fallen in love with is designed by Mori Lee. I really love "White" rather than "Ivory," but this particular dress only comes in "Diamond White." Has anyone bought that particular color wedding gown from this designer and can give me feedback on how they felt about how it compares to actual white? If anyone is willing to show me pictures of their dress that would be incredible!

Thank you!

i read an add about palladium engagement rings and it said "don’t go broke for love" so i’m assuming that its cheaper than gold.. i was trying to find something about it on google but everything pretty much told me about the element and not the jewelry.

i’ve been looking at engagement rings lately and i didn’t know if palladium was a good choice, if it cheaply made, etc.. so if you have a palladium ring or know someone who does and can tell me anything about it.. please help!

My white wedding dress has a bit of silver threading on it which is not too prominent, but it’s definitely silver. I was so in love with the dress that I didn’t consider how this would look with my gold jewlery. I’m more of a gold than a silver person. Can I wear gold jewelry with a white wedding dress with some silver threading?
One thing I keep thinking about is that I want to invest my money into jewelry I’ll actually wear in the future. I would much rather invest in gold than in silver that I would never/rarely wear again.

Everyone in my family is olive skin-toned, so we all look better in gold. So my mom and aunts and cousins wouldn’t really have nice silver jewelry to lend me.

What is all the hype about diamond rings ? Tradition ? Why not another favorite, just as beautiful…yet more unique precious stone ?

Personally I like deep red garnets, luminous opals…even some other not so precious stones…yet are precious to look at and pleases the eye. I know opals are delicate stones…but you get the point.

How ’bout starting a ‘ movement ‘ and bucking the system and choosing other stones in special occasion rings ? The message of wearing some other stone other than diamond being…" She (or I’m) unique and a ‘common’ diamond does not reflect the uniqueness of our love, style, person that she is etc….get creative.

How did diamonds get to be the ‘chosen’ diamond anyway ? I say get unique…chose a unique stone…or be bold and have no ring at all and just hold each others hands allot knowing your love is true…it will beam from you…others will know and smile. More importantly…you’ll know.

Odd concept ?
.
" Buck7ie "…Jealous of what…being like EVERYONE else…not being unique…expressing my own personal style. What is to be jealous of…a diamond. That is just an object. To be in an authentic relationship where two embrace, value and respect each others hearts is the true value…not some stone on a ring. There are many diamonds or otherwise being flashed around out there…but are their hearts being valued and celebrated? Speaking from experience. That was’nt the point of my question…yet you did bring it up. I know true value…and an object of a stone is not where it’s at.

Where can I buy affordable Diamond Engagement Rings?

Sep 26, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Diamond Rings

I searched a lot on the google but prices seems too high..I am looking for a princess cut diamond engagement ring set that is between 00-00 for my love. Can you share ideas?

My finace purchased me a ring from kay jewerels and it is a leo diamond and I just found out that the band that was orginal on my ring isn’t a leo band. I found out that it is just a normal band that there shop inscrible it with the leo signature mark and put the diamond chip in it I thought this was copyright. I found this out because my band was defective and they had to order me another band we I got the new band it was completly different from the one i fell in love with. Then they told me that my orginal band wasnt a true leo band and that the new one is in fact a real leo band, I am very upset. So I would like to know if anyone out there has had this happend to them or if anyone has recently purchased one if they new that kay jewerel could do this
this is in response to pinkdenial’s answer Kay Jewerly told me that they can no longer take one of there bands and inscribe it there self with the the leo mark and diamond chip due to copyright, they actual orderd me a new band that was from leo but it is not like the band i had orginally purchased.

My wedding dress has a bit of silver threading on it, but I don’t think it’s very prominent at all. I didn’t even notice the silver threading until after I was in love with the dress. (This is the dress http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2026&prodgroup=10 )

I’m more of a gold person than a silver person. I don’t want to wear screaming gold jewelry. It would be subtle. I am also thinking of wearing gold shoes.

What do you think? Can I pull it off, or would I look completely mismatched? Would anyone even notice?
What if I wore pearls set in gold fixings? Pearls would be the main thing.
Okay, maybe I won’t wear the gold shoes! You guys are right–that would be too much!

As a child? He recently admitted he saw a picture of a young Caroline Kennedy and came up with his big hit. Isn’t it creepy for an older Diamond to be looking at a picture of a little girl (Caroline Kennedy) and thinking of love with her?
